About us

Domi Domingo Day Nursery

Opened in 2014 as a single room Nursery. Since this time we have grown and developed, now offering 71 places in our baby room, toddler room and pre school room.

Our values and vision underpin everything that we do, not only with our children but with everyone who uses our Nursery.

 ‘Growth and learning happens at all levels to ensure that all users are the best that they can be.’

Our children are our future and their health and happiness is of upmost importance to us. Our Nursery has achieved the SOIL association award for serving over 75% organic food. In addition to this all of our food is freshly prepared daily by our Nursery chef. Because of this we can cater for all dietary requirements our children may have.

Our children’s mental health is important and all of our staff have accessed training around supporting children’s health and happiness. Additionally we also recognise the importance of taking care of our environment and our children are encouraged to recycle and are taught about this throughout their time in Nursery.

Our children have free flow access to the outdoor area. This is important to develop their gross motor skills, their physical skills, their imagination and their health. We are also a forest school so our outdoor leader does lots of exciting activities with the children such as whittling and having a camp fire. In addition to this we use the local environment and often do trips to the park or shops.

Your children’s safety is paramount to everything that we do. Our staff have all undergone safeguarding training and we have CCTV for your peace of mind.

We are proud that we are a fully inclusive Nursery. Our SCOPE inclusion award is testament of this. We welcome any child to our setting and will offer any support we can. Your child may have an additional need or be new to English. Our staff are trained to support all children and can access further support where necessary.
