Domi Domingo Day Nursery
Opened in 2014 as a single-room Nursery in Leeds, we have since grown significantly and opened a second Nursery in East Ardsley, Wakefield. Today, we proudly offer 71 places across our baby room, toddler room, and pre-school room.
Our values and vision underpin everything that we do, not only with our children but also with everyone who uses our Nursery.
As we say ‘Growth and learning happens at all levels to ensure that all users are the best that they can be.’
Our children are our future and their health and happiness is of upmost importance to us. Our Nursery has achieved the SOIL association award for serving over 75% organic food. Additionally, all of our food is freshly prepared daily by our Nursery chef, ensuring we can cater for all dietary requirements our children may have.
We prioritize children’s mental health, and all staff have undergone training to support their well-being. We also emphasize caring for the environment by encouraging recycling and teaching its importance throughout their time in Nursery.
Our children have free flow access to the outdoor area which supports their gross motor skills, physical skills, imagination and their health. We are also a forest school so our outdoor leader does lots of exciting activities with the children such as whittling and having a camp fire. In addition to this we use the local environment and often do trips to the park or shops.
Your children’s safety is paramount to everything that we do. Our staff have all undergone safeguarding training and we have CCTV for your peace of mind.
We are proud that we are a fully inclusive Nursery. Our SCOPE inclusion award is testament of this. We welcome any child to our setting and will offer any support we can. Your child may have an additional need or be new to English. Our staff are trained to support all children and can access further support where necessary.
